Hospital of Choice Awards

  • In recognition of America's most customer friendly hospitals.
  • Any state-licensed medical facility may request to apply at anytime. Applications are only extended to hospitals that pass our preliminary screening process. Applicants have 8 weeks to submit all requested information.
  • Winners will be notified within 6 weeks of application deadline.
  • A press release announcing selectees will be sent to local media outlets at winner's request.
  • Use award as proof of success in customer service.

Hospital of Choice Awards selections are issued solely under the authority of the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers, Inc. Applicants are judged solely on the merits of the application and interviews conducted by AACHP.


Meeting acceptable standards

Meeting acceptable standards of quality patient care is not enough to earn the endearment of family members, healthcare payors and providers who refer their friends and clients for admission. In addition to competent care, they also want a friendly and courteous staff; they want timely communication regarding their client's status and treatment; they want involvement in the discharge plan; and they want fair and accurate billing. The American Alliance of Healthcare Providers designed the Hospital of Choice Awards to recognize those hospitals that go beyond their walls in pursuit of excellence and quality care -- hospitals that have developed a collaborative relationship with physicians and healthcare organizations in the community, as well as managed care organizations and other payors. In short, we are seeking hospitals that care about all their customers.

The American Alliance of Healthcare Providers is proud to announce the fifth year of the Hospital of Choice Awards. Your selection will be proof positive that your facility has the “right stuff” to meet the needs of families, clinicians and managed care organizations seeking a healthcare partner to work with.

  • More than 200 healthcare provider associations and managed care organizations will be notified of our “Hospital of Choice” winners. Apply today by following these simple guidelines:
  • Any state licensed hospital may apply. Selections are made semiannually.
  • Apply in one of five categories which is based on the number of staffed beds available for patient care.
  • Hospital of Choice Awards are designed so that only the very best facilities can be selected.
