The
American Alliance of Healthcare Providers
is dedicated to improving the cooperation, communication and exchange
of ideas between hospitals striving to improve performance and
customer satisfaction. In this regard, the Alliance is committed
to strengthening the administrative functioning of member hospitals
by providing educational services. Educational services include
a National Conference on Strategic Planning in Healthcare Organizations
and The Managed Care Institute. AAHCP members may attend all Alliance
sponsored courses and events at a 25% discount of the regular
fee. The Alliance is best known for sponsoring The Hospital of
Choice Awards, a national awards program in customer service.
Thanks
to the generosity of Alliance supporters, there will no longer
be an application fee for members to apply for the Choice Awards.
There are no additional fees or hidden costs for Choice Award
winners. Applications are reviewed semi-annually. If an applicant
is not selected, they may reapply at their expense the following
year.
Alliance
members may also list without cost their qualified physicians
in the National Physician Database (NPD). The NPD or BestAmericanDoctors.com
is reserved for physicians who by virtue of their experience and
record of achievement are considered among the most qualified
in America .
Membership
in the American Alliance is open to any state-licensed healthcare
professional or organization. In addition, vendors that provide
professional services to healthcare organization may apply.
